All drivers must produce a current, full driving licence, which has been valid for at least one year. For photo card licences, the paper counter part must be presented. In the event that a licence is not presentable, it is possible for us to contact the DVLA to obtain the required information. There is a £5.00 charge for this service to cover our costs. We can accept up to 9 points for minor offences such as speeding. Additional charges may apply to endorsements, please contact us for full details. Additional drivers can be added to the insurance for £5.00 per day.
Please Note: Driving licences issued after 1st January 1997 have restrictions on driving 7.5 tonne vehicles. The driver must have the category C1 on there Driving Licence.
All drivers must be 21 or over for vehicle's up to 3.5 tonne and 25 or over for vehicles over 3.5 tonne. The maximum age is 75 years old.
The hirer must produce at the time of hiring, two independent documents of identification. They must show the hirers current address (Utility bills, Bank Statement)
Payment by credit or debit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit, Solo, Electron and Maestro.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before hire commencement; the hirer will be liable to pay a late cancellation charge equivalent to the single daily rate for the category of vehicle.
The first £750.00 of any accidental damage will be the responsibility of the hirer. The insurance does not cover aerials, mirrors, vehicle interior, tyres, wheels, punctures, windscreens and any damage that is caused by the hirer's negligence.
Allowed mileage is based on the length of the hire; please ask at the time of booking. Excess miles will be charged at 15p per mile
Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel in, as when it was collected. Should we need to refuel the vehicle the cost will be £1.20 + vat per litre.
No credit can be given for any fuel left in the vehicle at the end of the hire period.
Medical conditions must be declared in advance
It is the hirers responsibility to check the vehicle before acceptance
