Initial Disclosure Document

This document provides information about us, the products we offer, the services we will provide, what we charge for our services, who regulates us and what to do if you have a complaint. Advantage Rentals Limited T/A Advantage 4 Vans, (Registered in England & Wales, Company No. 04512246. VAT 800 4360 80) is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 664305) and is a credit broker not a lender.

What services do we offer?

We offer a non-advised service, meaning we will offer you a range of products for you to choose from and will explain the differences between them, but we cannot provide you with advice or recommendations on these products. During your application we may ask you for information to enable us to identify your needs and present relevant products. You will receive a copy of the pre-contract information, detailing the terms & conditions, costs, interests and other key information before you enter the contract.

What products do we offer?

Advantage 4 Vans, work with a select panel of lenders & providers who may be able to offer you finance or insurance products for your purchase, we do not charge a fee for this service and each provider may have different interest rates and charges. We will explain key features and benefits, but you must decide whether the finance or insurance product is right for you.

Interest Rates and Commission Arrangements

The rate you receive will depend on the lender or provider and will be either a fixed rate or based on your credit score. Different lenders and providers may use different parameters when calculating your rate, such as the amount borrowed, your credit rating, length of the agreement and the asset being funded. Our aim is to secure finance at the lowest possible rate based on your circumstances. We may receive an introductory commission from the lender which may be a fixed amount or a percentage of the amount you borrow but this does not affect the amount of interest you pay under your credit agreement.

Your information will only be disclosed/provided to third parties for the purposes of providing, arranging, administering, and renewing finance contract(s) and for the purposes of monitoring and/or enforcing compliance with regulatory rules/codes.
